Factor/s that contributed to the RED and YELLOW Alert declarations:
1. Unavailability of Visayas' large coal plants TVI 1, TVI 2 and KSPC 1
2. Limited power import from Mindanao
A red alert status is issued when power supply is insufficient to meet consumer demand and the transmission gridโs regulating requirement.
A yellow alert is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission gridโs contingency requirement.

August 26, 2026 โ ILECO I successfully conducted the COOP CARES: Feeding Program and Handog Gamit Pang-Eskwela at Sinamay Elementary School, Brgy. Sinamay, Alimodian, benefiting 165 learners through the distribution of essential school supplies and a feeding activity under the Cooperativeโs Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program.
The initiative aimed to support the educational and nutritional needs of young learners while promoting the Cooperativeโs commitment to community development and inclusive service.
