ILECO I proudly joined the Municipality of San Miguel, Iloilo in celebrating its 27th Peopleโs Day Celebration, culminating on September 29, 2026.
Anchored on the theme, โSan Migueleรฑo nga Nagahiliugyon para sa Masanag nga Palaabutonโ, this yearโs celebration highlighted the spirit of unity, cooperation, and collective commitment toward a brighter future for the people of San Miguel.
The celebration was led by Municipal Mayor Bonifacio โBoningโ Salapantan Jr., who delivered the State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) at the San Miguel Covered Gym, highlighting the milestones, programs, and accomplishments of the local government.
As a community-based electric cooperative, ILECO I is one with the Municipality of San Miguel and its people in promoting community development, public service, and a brighter future. ILECO I remains committed to being a reliable partner of its Member-Consumer-Owners and the communities it serves not only in providing dependable electric service, but also in supporting meaningful activities that strengthen partnership and community engagement.

As part of our continuing commitment to strengthen our Barangay Power Associations (BAPAs) and enhance the quality of service we provide to our Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs), we conducted a BAPA Skills Training for BAPA meter readers and technicians on September 26, 2026, at the ISAT-U Miagao Covered Gym.
Conducted under District I โ Miagao, the training focused on strengthening the knowledge and technical skills of our BAPA personnel in key areas, including:
๐น Safety Preventive Measures
๐น Proper Fusing, Troubleshooting, and Disconnecting/Reconnecting of Fuse Cut-Out Assembly
๐น Refresher Course on Disconnecting, Reconnecting, and Pulling Out Meters
๐น Orientation on Gadget Meter Reading
Through this initiative, we aim to equip our BAPA meter readers and technicians with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and accurately.
We also recognize the important role of our BAPA partners in supporting reliable electric service within their respective communities. By continuously strengthening their capabilities, we help promote proper meter reading, safe technical practices, improved BAPA operations, and better service to our MCOs.
We extend our appreciation to all the BAPA meter readers and technicians who participated in the training, as well as to our resource persons and ILECO I personnel who generously shared their knowledge and expertise.
