We continue to strengthen our commitment to providing reliable, safe, and quality electric service through the replacement of 18 rotten distribution poles from Brgy. Lanag to Brgy. Buga, Leon. This project forms part of our continuing distribution system modernization program, aimed at enhancing the safety, reliability, and resilience of our electric distribution network.

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we continue to upgrade ILECO I facilities across our entire coverage area to ensure that our Member-Consumer-Owners benefit from a stronger, more dependable, and future-ready electric distribution system.

By replacing deteriorated poles, we help reduce the risk of unexpected power interruptions, improve public safety, and strengthen the stability of our distribution system, especially during severe weather conditions. These proactive initiatives support the long-term reliability of ILECO I's electric distributtion infrastructure and contribute to the sustainable growth of the communities we proudly serve.

As Super Typhoon "INDAY" approaches, we encourage all our Member-Consumer-Owners to take the necessary precautions to protect your family and ensure electrical safety before the storm arrives.

Before the typhoon arrives:

✅ Stay informed and know your emergency plan. Monitor weather advisories from official government agencies and be familiar with your family's evacuation plan and designated safe meeting place.

🎒 Prepare your emergency kit (Go-Bag). Make sure it contains enough food and drinking water for at least three (3) days, a first-aid kit, medicines, flashlights, batteries, important documents, and other essential supplies.

🏠 Secure your home and property. Bring loose outdoor items indoors, reinforce vulnerable parts of your house, and clear gutters and drainage to minimize possible damage.

🔋 Charge all electronic devices. Fully charge your mobile phones, power banks, emergency lights, and other communication devices while electricity is still available.

🚰 Prepare for possible utility interruptions. Store enough clean water for drinking and sanitation. If you use a generator, operate it only in a well-ventilated outdoor area and follow all safety precautions.

⚡ Practice electrical safety at all times.
• Turn OFF and unplug unnecessary electrical appliances to protect them from power surges.
• If flooding is expected and it is safe to do so, switch OFF your main circuit breaker.
• Never touch fallen power lines, damaged electrical facilities, or flooded electrical equipment. Always assume they are energized and report them to us immediately.

Our warriors of light are on standby and ready to respond. Once weather conditions are declared safe, we will immediately conduct damage assessment and restore power in affected areas as quickly and safely as possible.
