ILECO I, together with the UP Ichthyophilic Society (UPIS), successfully conducted the 9th Medical-Dental and Circumcision Mission (MDCM) last May 1, 2026, with the theme: “Pag-ulikid sa Lawod: Pag-amlig sa Ikaayong Lawas sang aton mga Mangingisda.”
ILECO I, headed by General Manager Engr. Miguel A. Paguntalan, Jr., and represented by the Institutional Services Department (ISD) and staff, joined the said mission. The activity provided essential healthcare services, including free medical and dental consultations, medicines, and circumcision services, to a total of 300 beneficiaries composed of fisherfolk and their families.
The idea of responsiveness to the needs of the community has been properly captured in the Mission Statement of the Coop, thus the need to put the statement to life and reality.
We are happy to have been of assistance to our dear Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) in the Municipality of Miagao. The activity was held at the UP Visayas Covered Court, Miagao, Iloilo, continuing our commitment to uplifting the lives of those in the fisheries sector.
