Earlier this afternoon, ILECO I participated in the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). The exercise was designed to sharpen employees’ preparedness and response capabilities, providing a vital opportunity to practice safety protocols such as the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, orderly evacuation, and the implementation of post-earthquake response measures.
This initiative is in compliance with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Memorandum No. 27, s. 2025, which aims to bolster disaster resilience across all organizations and communities.
By conducting this drill, ILECO I reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the safety of its employees, facilities, and Member-Consumer-Owners. The activity underscores the necessity of constant awareness and readiness in mitigating risks during seismic events.
