Reason: Continuation of Wood pole replacement along the Sta. Barbara - Ingore 69kV Line & preventive maintenance works at Buenavista Substation and Ingore Switching Station
Specific affected areas are determined by the Electric Cooperatives (ECs). NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled.

A total of 11 power plants are on forced outage as of June 2026, while 8 plants remain on forced outage since May 2026, 1 since March 2026, 3 since 2025, 2 since 2024, 2 since 2023, and 1 since 2021. Additionally, 10 power plants are operating on derated capacities, resulting in a total of 964.4 MW unavailable to the grid.
📌 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁:
• Unavailability of Visayas' large coal-fired power plants: TVI 1, TVI 2, PEDC 3, and KSPC 1
• High demand forecast
ℹ️ A Yellow Alert is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission grid’s contingency requirement and NGCP may implement Manual Load Dropping.
We encourages all our Member-Consumer-Owners to practice energy conservation, especially during peak hours, to help maintain the stability and reliability of the power grid.
